HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A man, identified as 24-year-old Cortney Montgomery, has been charged with assaulting an elderly individual in Harris County on Tuesday, according to officials.
Deputies from Harris County Constable Precinct 4 responded to a disturbance call at the 19100 block of Match Play Drive.
Upon arrival, an 87-year-old man reported that Montgomery physically assaulted him following a verbal altercation, resulting in pain and injury.
Montgomery was subsequently arrested and taken to Harris County Jail, where he faces charges of injury to the elderly. His bond has been set at $5,000.
