Cardi B and Offset’s son, Wave, is celebrating his 2nd birthday today. The couple shared photos of the toddler playing with stacks of $100 bills on Instagram. In one photo, Wave is wearing a diaper and diamond earrings, and in another, Offset is adorably holding him in his arms.
Cardi has also embraced her role as a stepmother to Offset’s three other children. She has said that she wants her kids to stay humble despite their parents’ wealth.
“They need to know to never feel comfortable,” she told Vogue Singapore. “Don’t ever feel like, ‘I’m going to get it because I’m Cardi and Offset’s kid.’ They are never going to know what struggle feels like, so they might not have that hunger I had to leave the streets.”
The couple is known for doing it big when it comes to their kids’ birthdays. For Kulture’s 4th birthday, they threw her an elaborate mermaid-themed bash and gifted her $50,000 in cash.
