YBNL Music Executive and singer Olamide confirmed MohBad’s death on his Twitter account. He posted a photo of MohBad with a caption that read, “Damn! MohBad.”
MohBad was born Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba in Lagos, Nigeria. He began his music career in 2018 and was signed to Naira Marley’s Marlian Records in 2019. He released his debut single, “Ponmo,” in 2020. The song was a hit and helped to launch MohBad’s career.
MohBad left Marlian Records in 2022. He released his latest single, “Feel Good,” in February 2023.
The cause of MohBad’s death has not been released. His family and friends have asked for privacy during this difficult time.
