Denny’s restaurant in Rosenberg hit by SUV, 23 people injured

ROSENBERG, Texas – Nearly two dozen people were injured in a Denny’s restaurant in Rosenberg on Monday after an SUV crashed into the building.

The crash occurred at around 11:22 a.m. at 27960 Southwest Freeway. The vehicle crashed into the south wall of the restaurant, injuring 23 people inside.

The injured people were taken to the hospital with injuries ranging from minor cuts to severe injuries. None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
